South Bank's last vacant development site, Southpoint, will break new ground in creating one of Queensland's largest mixed-use, transport-oriented developments.
This $570 million project will include 179 residential apartments, 42,000 square metres of commercial office space, a 178 room five-star boutique hotel and significant retail space including a supermarket.
Southpoint's development will also include a multi-million dollar upgrade of the South Bank rail station, which the site is conveniently located adjacent to.
Construction on Southpoint is expected to start in early 2012.
